About Attesso B.V.

Attesso is a Dutch company building the financial authorization layer for the next generation of autonomous software founded by Douwe Kramer & Sid van Kalken. As AI agents start to transact on behalf of people and businesses, the questions: "who actually authorized this payment?", "when & for how long?", "what are all payment constraints exactly?", become the most important.

Today, those questions are answered by handing agents an API key, a card number, or a session token, transactions settled in crypto, secrets the agent now holds forever, and that any attacker who compromises the agent gains. Attesso replaces that model the Attesso mandate: a short-lived, scope-bound authorization signed by the human (or the human's delegated key) at the moment of intent, using biometrics.

The result: agents can transact, banks and processors get a clear, verifiable signature, and the underlying keys never leave the user's device. This also provides a heavy audit trail making this a safe solution for all parties involed in a payment.
